(10) The Advanced Force Gauge (Mark 4) is the most versatile and fully-featured instrument offered by Mecmesin. It is housed in a re-styled, ergonomically-shaped, rugged case (machined from a billet of solid aluminium) and powered either by mains adaptor or rechargeable AAA batteries. The force gauge can be used handheld or fixed to a manual or motorised test stand to enable testing under controlled conditions. For added flexibility the AFG is able to recognise data from a range of external 'smart' force or torque transducers.
The Advanced Force & Torque Indicator (AFTI) is a high-specification display unit with similar features and benefits of the AFG, for use with Mecmesin ‘Smart’ force and torque sensors. The Compact Force Gauge+ is a lightweight, pocket-sized alternative to the analogue spring balance, and includes RS232 output for easy data transmission to peripheral devices.

(13) The Chatillon® SLC Series loadcells are designed to be used exclusively with the Chatillon DFS-R-ND Series digital indicator. SLC loadcells feature "smart technology". The DFS-R-ND digital indicator recognizes the loadcell and automatically scales the gauge to the capacity of the loadcell connected. Load readings are selectable in gf, ozf, lbf, kgf and N. The SLC loadcells have mechanical overload protection to 150% full scale. Because of the "smart technology" the loadcell will maintain a history of overload occurrences. SLC loadcells have a retractable cord, which may fully extend to over 8 ft. (2.4 m). A 15-pin D Connector plugs into the DFS-R-ND housing.
